How to pre-load on PS5

1. Pre-order GTA 6 on the PlayStation Store.
2. In Settings, turn on automatic downloads and set Rest Mode to stay connected to the internet.
3. In your Game Library, open GTA 6 and make sure the game content is ticked for download.
4. Leave the console in Rest Mode from 12 November and check the download queue.

How to pre-load on Xbox Series X|S

1. Pre-order the digital version on the Microsoft Store.
2. From 12 November, open My games & apps and start the install if it hasn't begun automatically.

When does GTA 6 pre-load start?

Can I pre-load GTA 6 with a physical copy?

Yes. The box contains a download code, not a disc. It goes on sale on 12 November so you can redeem it and pre-load.

Can I play GTA 6 early after pre-loading?

No. Pre-loaded files stay locked until your store region's unlock time on 19 November.

Can I refund a PS5 pre-order after the pre-load starts?
