In-game radio stations revealed

Rockstar named six GTA 6 radio stations on 8 October 2026, from Latin music on Cocoteo FM to metal on The Chamber 106.6. It also confirmed on-demand podcasts, and that you can listen on foot through headphones. Confirmed

The six stations

Cocoteo FM plays modern Latin music, from bachata and merengue to dembow and reggaeton, hosted by El Martillo and La Gata. Back Country Radio, hosted by MW and Delta Dawne, plays renegade country to the Grassrivers and Port Gellhorn, with a roving reporter, Mud Dog Mike, calling in from his airboat. AfroBank FM, with Burna and Palmsy, covers African music from 20th-century classics to amapiano and 3-step.

The Chamber 106.6 is metal with DJ Kerry and DJ Tom. Flash FM, which Rockstar calls a Vice City institution, plays pop with Robyn and Alex. Dirty South Classics, with Trick and Trina, plays regional rap and hip-hop classics.

What's new about radio

Rockstar says GTA 6 has the biggest and widest-ranging selection of in-game radio in the series, from Classic Rock to Talk Radio. These six are only a sample. Two changes stand out. There are on-demand podcasts for the first time, and both radio and podcasts can be heard on foot as well as in vehicles, through headphones and earbuds connected to Jason's and Lucia's phones.

Why it matters

Rockstar calls in-game radio the series' most distinct musical element, and this post names stations tied to real places on the map, such as Back Country Radio in the Grassrivers and Port Gellhorn. Being able to listen on foot means the music isn't limited to driving.
