What Rockstar announced
On 24 June 2026 Rockstar said pre-orders would open at midnight local time on 25 June, and later updated the post to say they were open worldwide. The Ultimate Edition was available to pre-order from the start. Rockstar describes it as adding premium vehicles, weapons, apparel and action across Jason and Lucia's story.
Everyone who pre-orders or buys before 20 November gets the Vintage Vice City Pack, which Rockstar calls a collection of items that flash back to when the neon burned brightest. Rockstar's post adds that digital pre-orders include a free month of GTA+, with details on the GTA VI site.

Pre-load and physical copies
Digital pre-orders can pre-load from 12 November, so the game is ready on 19 November. Rockstar says the physical version contains a download code inside the box and goes on sale from 12 November, so boxed buyers can pre-load too.

What changed
Rockstar's post describes GTA 6 as a single player experience. It also turned the 19 November date into firm plans: a pre-order window, a pre-load date and a cut-off of 20 November for the bonus.
