The report that GTA 6 comes to PC in Q1 2027

By · Published · Updated

GamesBeat reported on 13 October 2026 that Rockstar plans to release GTA 6 on PC in the first quarter of 2027, citing four industry sources who asked to stay anonymous. Rockstar didn't respond to GamesBeat and hasn't announced a PC version. INSIDER Likely Still unconfirmed

What was reported

GamesBeat's Alexander Lee wrote that Rockstar plans to release the PC version within the first three months of 2027, according to four industry sources familiar with the studio's plans. A Rockstar representative didn't respond before publication.

GamesBeat compared it with GTA V, whose PC version arrived in April 2015, roughly a year and seven months after the September 2013 console launch.

Why we rate it Likely, not Confirmed

GamesBeat is an established trade outlet and says it confirmed the window with several sources. But it's anonymous sourcing, and neither Rockstar nor Take-Two has said anything about PC. Until one of them does, GTA 6 is announced only for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.

What it means for you

Don't buy a PC key or a "PC pre-order" anywhere. There's no official PC product. Our PC release date guide tracks what's confirmed, and we'll move this item to Confirmed if Rockstar announces a date.
