JB Hi-Fi and EB Games both list GTA 6 as a code-in-box pre-order in Australia, and both say delivery starts on 12 November so you can download it before launch. JB Hi-Fi also says pickup starts that day. We are not claiming any store has stock on the shelf: we are repeating what the product pages said when we opened them on 6 November 2026 (AEDT).

Reported [1] [2] [3] [4] Prices and copy were read on 6 November 2026 (AEDT). They can change.
When we opened JB Hi-Fi's PS5 product page, the price showed A$125 and the availability line read "Not available". That is why we are not saying it is in stock or ready to collect today. EB Games showed "Preorder Thu, 19 Nov 2026", home delivery available, and Click & Collect with no store set on our view — local collection depends on the store you pick at checkout. [1] [2]
12 November matches Rockstar
Rockstar says code-in-box copies reach retailers from 12 November so you can redeem the code and pre-load before 19 November. Confirmed [1] JB Hi-Fi's collection page says you can collect a code-in-box pre-order from 12 November and use the code to download ahead of launch. [1] EB Games' PS5 and Xbox pages both say "Delivery starts November 12, allowing the game to be downloaded and installed in advance." [1] [2]
The box is not a disc. You still need an internet connection, about 212 GB free, and the right console account. JB Hi-Fi and EB Games say the PlayStation 5 code works only for a PlayStation account registered to Australia. [1] [2]
Editions and extras
There is no physical Ultimate Edition at either retailer we opened. Boxed Standard owners can buy the Ultimate Edition Upgrade from the PlayStation Store (or the Microsoft Store, on the Xbox listing) after redeeming the Standard code. [1] [2] [3] That matches what we already cover in digital vs physical and is Ultimate Edition worth it?.
The Vintage Vice City Pack is listed as the pre-order bonus on both EB Games pages and on JB Hi-Fi's collection FAQ, which says the offer ends 18 November 2026. [1] [2] [3] What is in the pack is on GTA 6 pre-order bonus. The extra month of GTA+ is a digital-store offer, not something these boxed pages promised when we read them.
This page is not a stock checker and it is not a buying recommendation. Confirm price, delivery promise and pickup options on the retailer site at checkout. Other verified prices sit on where to buy GTA 6.
