Does it run?
The Xbox Store lists Grand Theft Auto VI for Xbox Series X|S, with the Optimized for Xbox Series X|S badge. Confirmed [1] That badge includes the Series S. Rockstar's own pre-load post names Xbox Series X|S alongside PS5. Confirmed [1]

Will it fit?
Microsoft sells the Series S with a 512GB or 1TB drive. Confirmed [1] Rockstar's only official size is "up to 212 GB depending on your device". Confirmed [1] There is no Xbox-specific figure. Unknown
| Drive | 212 GB is about |
|---|---|
| Xbox Series S 512GB | 41% of the advertised drive |
| Xbox Series S 1TB, Series X 1TB | 21% of the advertised drive |
| Xbox Series X 2TB | 11% of the advertised drive |
These shares use the advertised capacity. Usable space is lower once the system software is installed, so clear more than 212 GB if you can. Check your own console with the storage checker.
On a 512GB Series S you will likely need to move or delete other games before 10 November. Microsoft's Storage Expansion Cards are the official way to add space that current-gen games can run from; a USB drive is for older titles. More context is on the file size guide.
