On 5 November 2026 Rockstar Games posted that Grand Theft Auto VI is two weeks from launch and pointed players to a new Launch Gallery on the official site. The page invites you to explore Vice City and beyond through new screenshots, and the GTA VI media Downloads hub now lists 138 screenshots instead of the previous 99. Confirmed

At 2:00am AEDT on 6 November 2026 (15:00 UTC on 5 November) the official Rockstar Games account on X wrote that Grand Theft Auto VI is now officially only two weeks away, linked a collection of new screenshots on the official site, and closed with "See you in Leonida on November 19." The short link in that post resolves to rockstargames.com/VI/launch-gallery.

The Launch Gallery page itself is short and official. Its lead line is "Explore Vice City and beyond through new screenshots," and it repeats the November 19 send-off. From there Rockstar points to the wider Downloads / Media & Artwork hub and to its People & Places pages for Vice City. This is a first-party Rockstar drop, not magazine exclusives or outlet coverage, so we label it Confirmed.

How the official screenshot count changed

We opened Rockstar's GTA VI media page after the post. The Screenshots section now shows 138 screenshots available as a single zip download, with gallery labels such as Jason and Lucia, Lucia Caminos and Vice City among the preview tiles. Earlier coverage of that same Downloads hub, including Rockstar's own August batch and secondary round-ups that tallied the main gallery at 99 shots, put the main screenshot zip well below today's figure.

That jump matters for players who collect official stills rather than trailer frames. Rockstar still hosts separate packs for Ultimate Edition Benefits (51) and the Vintage Vice City Pack (12), plus Artwork & Wallpapers (25). Those side counts match what the hub showed before; the change we can verify today is the main Screenshots total moving to 138. We are not hosting or mirroring any of those images on this site.

How this sits next to earlier screenshot drops

Official GTA 6 stills have arrived in waves: the Trailer 2 website refresh in May 2025, later media-hub updates through August 2026, and magazine exclusives such as the twelve Edge 430 shots we covered as Reported on 29 October. Those Edge images were Rockstar-provided but published through the magazine, so they never sat on the main Downloads zip the way today's Launch Gallery batch does.

The 3 November Newswire pre-load post also opened on a fresh Vice City waterfront still.
